Bambaiya Bhajiwale

Bambaiya Bhajiwale is a series of mixed media illustrations documenting the vegetable vendors and markets of Mumbai. The word Bambaiya refers to the dialect of Hindi specifically spoken in Mumbai, used here as a means of signifying the history of migration and assimilation that takes place the large, metropolitan cities of India.
